Someone ever said this,
if you want to talk to Allah, pray
if you want to hear Allah’s words, recite Qur’an.
Its a good thing to recite Qur’an especially in Ramadhan, the month of Qur’an. You will get multiplied >100 times of good deeds by 1 arab alphabet. Its uncountable so lets just skip this and let Raqib and Atid calculate this.
I always have a principle, that if i read something, i must understand the meaning. So because i dont understand Arabic, i need to read the Indonesia translation every time after reciting.
See, as i read, beside the last verse of Al-Mulk, i found another beautiful words that Allah said in Surah Al-Waqi’ah. Very beautiful.
“Pernahkah kamu perhatikan benih yang kamu tanam? Kamu kah yang menumbuhkannya ataukah Kami yang menumbuhkan?
Sekiranya Kami kehendaki, niscaya Kami hancurkan sampai lumat; maka kamu akan heran tercengang, (sambil berkata), “Sungguh, kami benar-benar menderita kerugian, bahkan kami tidak mendapat hasil apa pun.”
Pernahkah kamu memperhatikan air yang kamu minum? Kamukah yang menurunkannya dari awan ataukah Kami yang menurunkan? Sekiranya Kami menghendaki, niscaya Kami menjadikannya asin, mengapa kamu tidak bersyukur?
Maka pernahkah kamu memperhatikan tentang api yang kamu nyalakan (dengan kayu)? Kamukah yang menumbuhkan kayu itu ataukah Kami yang menumbuhkan? Kami menjadikannya (api itu) untuk peringatan dan bahan berguna bagi musafir.
Maka bertasbihlah dengan (menyebut) nama Tuhanmu Yang Mahabesar”
Q.S. Al-Waqi’ah: 63-74
If you often read poems, you will clearly understand why these verse are beautiful (the translation is already this beautiful, imagine how the Arabian found this a lot more beautiful). I’m sorry i have no other words to say other than beautiful bcs its the only perfect words to describe something that very ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Of course, we agreed that Qur’an is not a poem. But.. in these verse, Allah show us, taking example of one of His creatures, and asking us that are we able to create that?
We do think we can invent robot that act like a human, also a big luxury ship as Titanic that the captain said no one can beat this even God himself couldn’t sink that ship (and sink in a tragic way). It shows us how helpless we are. Even a simple thing, a thing as the water that we drink, we cant create that.
Why? Because its Allah’s. Allah create that. And he is unbeatable.
Just as you look at the sky, do you think who in the world can create that beautiful view with unlimited sight?
